Excuse me, that last line should read index.html, not ip.html. My local copy uses ip.html so it will not overwrite the index page on the ftp site I am using.

Thanks for the reply. I like what you have done. There are lot's of fun improvements one could do with this too. One idea I have had would be to send an IM to notify of change along with an email. And yes, as you mentioned, if you have direct access to your name server you could easily script it to adjust that accordingly.
