It takes a host of video formats and can be loaded up with a queue and convert several at a time, resulting in videos that will be ready to load onto your video compatible ipod. If you have libgpod, you should be able to load them directly to the ipod from TLF, however with the newest versions of the ipods and their encrypted itunes databases, this feature might be iffy for now. Read on for a walkthrough on how to install TLF in linux. We will be using Kubuntu, and accordingly there are a few caveats that must be managed first which are necessary on all ubuntu variants. However, the install procedure is pretty general and should be fairly applicable across most distributions.
